NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a vehicle was used to break into a coffee shop in South Nashville early Friday morning.
The burglary happened at the Red Bicycle Coffee on Nolensville Pike around 2:15 a.m.
Surveillance video shows the suspect driving into the front doors in a gray sedan, rushing behind the counter to take cash and grabbing a Diet Coke on their way out. Metro police described the suspect as heavier set and wearing a face covering.
The owner told News 2 his whole team is there to pick up the pieces so they can continue serving the South Nashville community.
Investigators believe this break-in could be connected to others in the area.
No additional information was immediately released. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
