“The Hermès boutique will be positioned within the historic May Hosiery Mills campus, an adaptive reuse of the South’s oldest hosiery mill, dating back to 1897,” said Ben Weprin, Founder and CEO of AJ Capital Partners. “The addition of Hermès speaks to the enduring quality and artistry of the neighborhood. We look forward to integrating this iconic fashion house into our community.”
Hermès was founded in 1837 and specializes in leather goods, accessories, home furnishings, perfume, jewelry, watches and ready-to-wear apparel. Its logo has been a depiction of a horse-drawn carriage since the 1950s.
