ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Motorists were backed up for miles along Interstate 65 in Robertson County Wednesday afternoon due to a tractor-trailer crash.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), a tractor-trailer jack-knifed shortly before 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. As a result, all northbound travel lanes and the right shoulder were closed at mile marker 118.4 on I-65, but the left shoulder remained open.
By 3:20 p.m., TDOT's Smartway Map showed that the northbound lanes had reopened, but the right shoulder remained blocked.
At 1:45 p.m., TDOT's traffic camera showed motorists at a standstill at mile marker 110 of I-65 North. However, by 3:30 p.m., cameras showed traffic moving along the interstate.
No additional details have been released about this incident, including whether anyone was injured in the crash.
