NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after two teenagers were shot while sitting inside a vehicle in East Nashville Thursday night.
The shooting happened on Ben Allen Road just after 11 p.m. before the teens drove away to nearby Oakwood Avenue for help.
Metro police reported a teenage boy and girl were inside a sedan when a suspect entered the car and shot them. The girl was hit in the leg and the boy was shot twice, once in the arm and leg, according to officials.
The teenagers were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
No additional information was immediately released.
