JOELTON, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 28-year-old from Madison died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Joelton.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), a Nissan Sentra driven by Adam Clinard was heading westbound on Stagner Road at approximately 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Clinard was driving at a high speed, officials said. At a curve on Stagner Road near Bidwell Road, the car reportedly crossed into the opposing lane, veered off the road, and crashed into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said there was no indication that Clinard was impaired at the time of the crash.
