NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are searching for multiple suspects in relation to a deadly East Nashville shooting Friday night.
Metro Dispatch told News 2 that a shooting call came in at roughly 7:40 p.m. from North 6th Street. On-scene officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) added that the shooting took place outside an apartment complex.
A teen victim was reportedly shot and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) where he was confirmed to be deceased. At this time, the MNPD is actively searching for multiple suspects in the area.
Homicide detectives are en route to the scene, officers added. No further details were immediately released.
