MADISON, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) has made an arrest related to a deadly shooting that occurred in Madison over the weekend.
In a post to X, MNPD said 29-year-old Juan Ramirez-Guerra was taken into custody by TITANS detectives. Ramirez-Guerra was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of 28-year-old Edin Delacruz-Reyes.
Delacruz-Reyes was shot outside a business in the 1300 block of Gallatin Pike South just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. MNPD said in a press release that Delacruz-Reyes and Ramirez-Guerra had reportedly gathered with others in a parking lot before walking away from the group.
Authorities said that they found him shot multiple times, including at least once in the chest. Delacruz-Reyes was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he died.
Ramirez-Guerra was booked on a charge of criminal homicide and has been jailed on a $150,000 bond.
