CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Investigators were called to the scenes of two separate crashes in Clarksville Saturday night.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, the first collision occurred at approximately 6:51 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 by the intersection of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Old Trenton Lane. One person was flown to a Nashville hospital in a LifeFlight helicopter, but there is no word on their condition at this time.

Officials said Wilma Rudolph Boulevard has been reduced to one lane in each direction as a result of this two-vehicle crash, so motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route until the road is cleared.

About 30 minutes after the first incident happened, police said there was another crash at the intersection of Golf Club Lane and Memorial Drive, this time involving two motorcycles and a vehicle. According to law enforcement, "the status of the injured is unknown at this time."

While authorities have not reported any lane closures as a result of the second collision, drivers are still asked to avoid the area until the scene is cleared.

Just after 8 p.m., police announced that investigators from the Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) were on the way to both crash scenes.

No additional details have been released about either collision.
