NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Officials are investigating after four people were found injured near Nashville International Airport after a shooting Sunday morning.

Metro officers responded to a shooting report in the 1300 block of Murfreesboro Pike at an office building just after 5:30 a.m.

According to officials, four people were found injured at the location and transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Part of the building's parking lot was blocked off by investigators, though no evidence of shots being fired in the area was found.

Officers at the scene told News 2 that the victims drove to the office building after a shooting occurred at a different location.

Authorities said multiple shell casings were found at another shooting scene on the same stretch of road, in the 900 block of Murfreesboro Pike. Officials are investigating if these incidents are connected.

Officers said a suspect description is being developed and no arrests have been made at this time. No additional information was immediately available as the investigation continues.
