NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Looking for a new pet? Check out News 2 “Pets of the Week” segment every Tuesday on Good Morning Nashville.

Buffy

Buffy got to spend some time outside the shelter this week, attending a birthday party for an alumni of the shelter. She loves playing with her shelter mates and making new friends everywhere she goes. Buffy is great on the leash, allowing her human companion the chance to enjoy the walk as much as she does. She is about three years old and weighs 40 pounds. Email adopt.macc@nashville.gov.

Merlot

Merlot is a lot of fun when he gets some time outside the shelter, enjoying long walks and hikes with his foster companions. He is great in the car, sitting back and enjoying the ride in the back seat. Once he arrives at his destination Merlot can get a little too excited, but he calms right down to take in the adventure. He is about two years old and weighs 64 pounds. Email adopt.macc@nashville.gov.

Clue

Clue is a sweet girl who enjoys making all kinds of new friends, dog and human alike. She is very playful and gets a lot of energy out on her daily walks, sniffing everything and stopping to roll in the grass every so often. Clue is great at matching the play style of her companions, roughhousing with those who enjoy that kind of thing while taking a gentler approach with others. She is about a year and a half old and weighs 46 pounds.

Hoppie

Hoppie is a happy and wiggly girl who is ready to explore. Her ideal adoptive family has a lot of love and appreciates her fun-loving side. She does best when she gets her morning walk, getting some of her silly energy out so the rest of the day can be calm and full of snuggles. Hoppie is active and would do best in a family where activity is prioritized. She is about a year old and weighs 48 pounds. Email adopt.macc@nashville.gov.

Angus

Angus loves a good lap, the perfect place to snuggle up and enjoy the day. He loves getting to know the visitors to the shelter and is hopeful that the next lap he sits on will be that of his adoptive family. He is about four years old and weighs nine pounds. Email adopt.macc@nashville.gov.
