An officer with the SHPD told News 2 that the crash involved two vehicles. A car had been traveling east on Buckner Road with a turn signal on. The SHPD said the bus driver thought the car was going to turn onto the street that the bus was exiting. However, the car was not turning there but the next street. The car then collided with the bus.

Students were on board bus 13-112 at the time of the crash, police added, but no injuries were reported.

At 4:14 p.m., the Spring Hill Police Department said Bus 121 would pick up those students. The SHPD officer said that students were offloaded onto another bus to be taken to their destination.
