NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - A teen was arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with a deadly shooting in Madison.
Metro police said 19-year-old Jaylin Sanford was arrested in connection with the shooting that left 19-year-old Kenneth Buford Jr. dead in a field.
The shooting happened just after 3 p.m. Monday, May 13 in a field off North Gallatin Pike and McKinley Street. Based on their investigation, authorities believe Buford and Sanford knew each other.
Buford was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where he died.
Sanford is believed to have used an automatic pistol during the shooting and has been charged with criminal homicide, according to investigatiors.
