CENTERVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has arrested a suspect in connection with the homicide of a man in Hickman County, according to authorities.
The TBI said it was asked to help with the investigation into the apparent shooting death of 44-year-old Jeffrey Scott Sullivan on Friday, Feb. 7.
The Hickman County Sheriff's Office said it got a call about a shooting Friday night near the 5000 block of Bel Air Lane. Sullivan was found dead, but another person -- whose identity and condition were not released by law enforcement -- was brought to a Dickson hospital.
Officials said the TBI, in collaboration with the sheriff’s office, determined 25-year-old John Michael Biggs Jr. was believed to be responsible for Sullivan's death.
Biggs was charged with criminal homicide and booked into Hickman County Jail without bond, authorities said. No additional information was immediately released.
