FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Franklin police arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting last week.
Officers with the Franklin Police Department responded to a call on Valor Court at roughly 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11. Lattarius Johnson, 32, was found at the scene with a gunshot wound and rushed to an area hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead.
On Monday, Feb. 17, Franklin police arrested 37-year-old Robert Lee Fitzgerald, Jr., in connection with Johnson's death. Fitzgerald was charged with criminal homicide and booked into the Williamson County Jail on a $1 million bond.
At the time, Franklin police said the shooting appeared to be an "isolated incident." Johnson's death was the first homicide of 2025, following just one last year.
