MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Mt. Juliet police arrested three people after conducting a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the traffic stop was conducted because a Chevrolet HHR was improperly displaying a license plate, which was registered to a Mercedes. Over the course of the traffic stop, officers discovered a 50-year-old Nashville man in the vehicle was in possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, a 39-year-old Murfreesboro woman was also found in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. She also reportedly gave police a false identity and was wanted out of Nashville for failure to be booked.

A 38-year-old woman, also from Nashville, was found with cocaine and drug paraphernalia. She also allegedly had an outstanding warrant for domestic assault with bodily injury.
