NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A crash temporarily closed all eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 East, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
TDOT's SmartWay camera reported an overturned vehicle at mile marker 213.2 at 6:37 p.m. Friday. Erin Zeigler, a TDOT spokesperson for the area, said traffic was diverted to exit 213A back toward Interstate 440.
Metro's log of current traffic incidents listed the crash as involving injuries, though the extent of injuries was unclear. News 2 has reached out to the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol for more information.
