SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) — Multiple people were barricaded inside a home in Smyrna for more than six hours following a shooting Friday morning.
The incident began around 4:30 a.m. after officers were called to a residence on Clear Circle Drive. Tactical officers staged at the nearby Life Point Church while Smyrna police secured the house.
According to the police department, the situation ended peacefully around 11 a.m. with multiple people being taken in for questioning and three adults arrested.

A spokesperson for the town of Smyrna said a shooting victim from the area was taken to a medical facility in Nashville where their condition is unknown. No other injuries were reported during the incident.
In a news release sent out Friday afternoon, the Smyrna Police Department said the investigation was still ongoing. No additional information was immediately released.
