Strong storms are possible Thursday as the Storm Prediction Center has put all of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky under a marginal risk (1/5).

The main threats with these storms will be wind, hail, and heavy rain which could lead to flooding.

There could be a few storms early morning, but strong storms move in mid-morning through the afternoon on Thursday.
On Friday, there is a marginal risk (1/5) for strong storms for areas west and north of Clarksville.

Storms will move through Friday morning, but it looks like the strong storms could come in Friday evening. Any storm could contain wind, hail, and heavy rain.
Memorial Day weekend will feature scattered showers and storms. Sunday is a day where you will need to stay weather alert as the Storm Prediction Center has put most of Middle Tennessee under a 15% risk for severe storms.
However, areas north and west of Nashville are under a 30% risk for severe storms. All modes of severe weather are possible including tornadoes, wind, hail, and heavy rain.
