NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An homicide investigation is underway after a body was found behind a restaurant in the Antioch Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the 700 block of Bell Road near Mt. View Road around 8:45 a.m.
According to Metro police, 18-year-old Rickey O. Hale was shot behind Lakeshore Christian Church late Wednesday night and collapsed behind the church building. His body was discovered the next morning.
Investigators are working to determine if this case is linked to a shots fired call in the immediate area around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers are treating the death as a homicide investigation.
