NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Artificial intelligence (AI) is impacting just about every sector from transportation to education. This now also includes the hospitality industry. One tech company is looking to transform your hotel stay experience in Nashville using AI.
Metaguest AI Incorporated, a tech company that develops advanced AI platforms for the hospitality industry, is now expanding their technology Metaguest to 20 hotels in the Nashville area. The goal is to make the concierge experience more efficient without needing an app or website.

"Everything from on-demand services, so things like requesting housekeeping room service bottles of water in your room and extra pillow, all the way to actually itinerary building and services like booking attractions, events, or tours," said Jonny Comparelli, Metaguest's Chief Operations Officer.
The technology is already operational in parts of New York and Florida. Founders say Nashville's continued growth was the reason for a Tennessee expansion.
"It's such a tourist hub spot. Also, with such a wide variety of things culturally to do, in addition to all of the dining options and honkey tonks," Comparelli said. "Generally, we're partnering with your small to mid-size two to 400 room hotels. And these are going to typically fall under your premier and choice hotel brands like Hilton Homewood Suites."
However, the use of AI can be controversial. Some wonder if these types of enhancements will mean fewer jobs for people. Comparelli said that the answer is no.
"In a lot of these cases, you know, the closest things a lot of these hotel properties will have as you know, maybe those brochure stands that you'll see when you first walk in, and you have 100 different brochures for things to do in the area. We're not going after hotels that will already have an existing concierge, we're rather bringing that through AI to hotels that have never been able to offer that service."
Right now, you can use the AI technology at the following hotels:
The Capitol Hotel Downtown, Ascend Hotel Collection
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Nashville Airport
Baymont by Wyndham Nashville
Hilton Garden Inn Suites by Hilton Nashville West End Avenue
Home2 Suites by Hilton Nashville West End Avenue
Hampton Inn Nashville / Vanderbilt

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Airport

"We expect that growth in Nashville to reach between 40 and 60 hotels in Nashville by the end of quarter three of this year, and towards the end of the year, upwards of 80 to 100 hotels in Nashville," Comparelli said.
