NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A driver died and two passengers -- including a toddler -- were hospitalized after a Saturday morning crash on Interstate 65 North near the Interstate 24 West split, according to Nashville officials.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said the preliminary investigation indicates 54-year-old Roberto Estrada was driving his Dodge Ram pickup truck northbound on I-65 when it ran off the road at a curve, spun, entered the grass median, and fell off a 20-foot cliff to the southbound side of I-65 around 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1.

Authorities said Estrada was brought to Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), where he died.
Estrada's 49-year-old passenger and 2-year-old passenger were also transported to VUMC to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Officials said there were no signs of impairment at the scene of the crash.
No additional details have been released about this deadly incident.
