NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Seven people were taken into custody Thursday after drugs and weapons were found inside a short-term rental property.
North Precinct officers were called to a home on Napoleon Street after a group reportedly refused to leave the property.

Metro police reported officers seized six guns, one of which was reported stolen, cocaine, marijuana, pills, meth and heroin from inside the property.
When officers went inside the home, they arrested the following individuals:
- Vivian Tran, 21
- Acuma Juma, 23
- Kordell Marquzz Parson, 18
- Amiya Powell, 23
- John Topaco, 24
- Jeremiah Wheeler-Yarbrough, 18
- Juvenile female, 16
Topaco, a convicted felon, ran from officers but was quickly apprehended after a short chase. During the chase, Topaco dropped a backpack that had marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, mushrooms, pills, paraphernalia, cash, and a Glock 27 pistol, according to police.
All seven suspects were charged with various drug and gun possession offenses, while Topaco was also charged with evading arrest.
