NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - One person was found dead inside an Edgehill apartment Tuesday afternoon after reports of gunfire in the area.
Metro police said the incident happened at around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at an apartment in the 1000 block of Edgehill Avenue.

Officers received a call from a neighbor who said they heard multiple gunshots. When officers arrived at the apartment, they went inside and found one person dead, according to investigators.
Detectives are currently in the process of interviewing neighbors in the area.
