Teen shot in head on Nolensville Pike

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - An investigation is underway after a man was shot in the head early Sunday morning in the parking lot behind a Nolensville Pike business.

Police said the shooting happened at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 16 in the 3900 block of Nolensville Pike.

The victim, who police identified as 19-year-old Darwin Henriquez-Perdomo, was shot in the head and dropped off at Southern Hills Medical Center. Investigators added that the person(s) who took Henriquez-Perdomo to the hospital immediately left after dropping him off. He was then transferred to Skyline Medical Center in "extremely critical condition."

Witnesses at the scene told investigators a large group of vehicles in the parking lot where the shooting happened were doing donuts and driving erratically when multiple shots were fired.

The motive remains under investigation.
