3 Maury County children taken by father considered 'missing and endangered,' deputies say

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities in Maury County are searching for three children who are believed to be "missing and endangered" after they were removed from their father's custody.

According to the Maury County Sheriff's Department, a juvenile judge issued an emergency order on Friday, June 28 removing three children from Camryn Curtis's custody and placing them into temporary care of a relative.

Officials said Curtis, the father of the children, ignored the order and took the kids. Their whereabouts remain unknown as of this writing.

Authorities reported the children are considered "missing and endangered" based on information that was given to law enforcement and the juvenile court.

Curtis was reportedly last seen traveling with the children in a black 2014 Jeep Compass with Tennessee tag 804-BCRY.
