JEFFERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 7-year-old girl who was the center of an AMBER Alert issued out of East Tennessee Thursday morning has been found dead.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported an AMBER Alert had been issued for Serenity Alanna Marie Kinsey out of Jefferson County.

She was last seen at her home along Indian Creek Road in Dandridge around 1 a.m. Thursday, wearing black shorts and a blue shirt, according to the TBI. Officials said Serenity had autism and was nonverbal.
A dive team later located Serenity's body dead in a lake near her home, according to the TBI.
No additional information was immediately released.
