NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Umesh Dahal's family is still grieving his tragic loss. On June 29, the 41-year-old was beaten outside of East Nashville's Topgolf, as he was trying to calm an argument. He died days later from his injuries.
Metro Police have arrested and charged Roshan Subba-Lawti, Kishor Tamang-Bhaii and Bishal Rai with criminal homicide. According to police, Rai was identified as the man who kicked Dahal in the head.
During the attack, he was punched and his head fell onto the concrete. He was then kicked in the head.
His family practices the Hindu faith and are currently going through the mourning process. They held his funeral on July 6.
"I believe my faith will help us," Umesh's brother Naresh Dahal said. "It's a big loss, my brother is gone."
Naresh spoke about his brother's dedication to his family. He is survived by his loving wife and two daughters.
