NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 47-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stole thousands of dollars from a Donelson campground office.
The theft happened just after midnight on Wednesday, May 22 at the Two Rivers Campground on Music Valley Drive.
Metro police reported Davi Reynolds used a pry bar to enter the campground's office while wearing a mask and dark clothing. Surveillance footage captured Reynolds running through the business to the back office where he broke into the safe.
Reynolds took several bags of money along with rolled and loose quarters, according to Metro police. He used an office chair to roll the money out to his vehicle.
According to Metro police, $2,732.49 in cash was taken from the office. The stolen desk chair is estimated to cost $250 while damage to the front door was around $230.
Reynolds was booked into the Metro jail and charged with felony burglary, theft of property, vandalism, possession of burglary tools and probation violation. His bond was set at $50,000.
