NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One half of a pair of sisters linked to organized retail crime in Nashville has been taken into custody in La Vergne.
Myiesha Mayes and her sister are believed to have stolen thousands of dollars worth of items from various Middle Tennessee stores over the past six months.
According to court documents, Myiesha Mayes, 28, has stolen more than $28,000 worth of beauty products since the beginning of May 2024.

Metro police announced in mid-July detectives were searching for the sisters while their brother had already been taken into custody. The search is ongoing for 25-year-old Melissa Mayes.
In July 2023, News 2's Andy Cordan reported Mayes was accused of stealing more than $4,700 dollars in merchandise from an Old Navy in Spring Hill.
Mayes was booked into the Metro jail Thursday afternoon and felony theft charges. Her bond was set at $100,000.
