Trump criticizes Gov. Lee, calls him a 'RINO' after primary elections

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Former president Donald Trump took to social media Friday morning to criticize Tennessee Governor Bill Lee.

The former president was commenting on the results from Tennessee's primary elections.

I went 10 for 10 on endorsements tonight in the Great State of Tennessee, including Bobby Harshbarger, running against a strong, long-term incumbent supported by RINO Governor Bill Lee. A Great Day for Tennessee—now on to a Complete and Total Victory in November. MAGA 2024!

The term "RINO" is short for "Republican in name only." Merriam-Webster defines the term as a member of the Republican party who is disloyal to the party or insufficiently conservative.

Gov. Lee had backed Jon Lundberg, the incumbent candidate in the northeast Tennessee Senate race.

Congratulations to Bobby Harshbarger, a fantastic candidate for Tennessee State Senate, who won against a long-term incumbent supported by RINO Governor Bill Lee, whose endorsement meant nothing. Bobby is a true America First Fighter, the son of very popular and effective Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger, and will fight to Secure our Border, Create Jobs, Protect our Military/Vets, and Defend our Always Under Siege 2nd Amendment. Bobby again has my Complete and Total Endorsement in the upcoming election on November 5, which he will win in a Landslide! Congratulations to the entire Harshbarger Family!
