NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 22-year-old man has been charged for his connection to a Saturday night crash that left two women dead and another person injured on Gallatin Pike.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), the deadly crash happened around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Gallatin Pike and Cude Lane on Saturday, Aug. 3.

Officials said a preliminary investigation indicates that 22-year-old Giovanni Bolstad was traveling in a Jeep Cherokee on Cude Lane out of Rivergate Mall when he ran a red flashing light and crashed into a Ford Focus on Gallatin Pike.
Two women in the Focus -- identified as a 24-year-old and a 25-year-old -- were killed in the crash, police said. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old driver of the Focus sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Skyline Medical Center.
Authorities reported Bolstad -- who has a previous DUI conviction from 2023 -- ran away from the scene after the crash, but later returned and was taken to Skyline Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
He was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide by intoxication, vehicular assault and driving on a revoked license.
Bolstad is being held in Metro Jail on a $332,500 bond, according to booking records.
No additional information was immediately released about the incident.
