MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was arrested in Mt. Juliet after a traffic stop led police to discover a modified handgun and drugs.
The 22-year-old was pulled over for a traffic light violation, according to the Mount Juliet Police.

During the traffic stop, officers recovered a Glock handgun with an automatic switch and cocaine. In addition to the gun and drugs, officers also reportedly found a hooded face mask.
Mount Juliet police said the firearm will be sent for testing to determine if it has been used in other crimes in the area. The man was reportedly booked into the Wilson County jail but his identify and charges were not released.
The investigation is ongoing.
