1 dead following rollover crash in Sumner County

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least one person has died following a rollover crash in Sumner County Monday morning, officials said.

The crash was reported at approximately 8:20 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 386 near mile marker 14.

According to Gallatin Fire Chief Jeff Beaman, the crash involved one vehicle. The vehicle reportedly rolled over, ejecting one person who died at the scene.

Officials said multiple fire crews responded to the crash, including a fire engine and rescue crews.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is leading an investigation into the deadly crash. Additional details were not immediately released.
