NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — On Sunday morning, a woman was found shot in a vehicle in the Napier area, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).
Officers responded to a shooting call on Green Street at around 2:19 a.m., where they found a black Chevrolet Tahoe.
A female victim, identified as 32-year-old Dorothy Stephenson, was found in the passenger seat with a gunshot wound. Stephenson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Metro Nashville Police Department did not release information about a potential suspect, but said they are pursuing active leads.
