PUTNAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- First responders spent part of Thanksgiving battling a blaze that destroyed a home in Putnam County.

According to the Putnam County Fire Department, crews were dispatched to a residential structure fire along Paran Road at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they reportedly found a single-wide trailer, with some additions, heavily involved in flames. Personnel said they launched an aggressive exterior attack in order to "protect surrounding exposures from fire spread."

Officials said the blaze was brought under control about 30 minutes after units arrived, allowing them to clear the scene after roughly 90 minutes.
