Police searching for Hermitage bank robber

HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is asking for the public's help in identifying an alleged bank robber.

Officials said the incident happened at the Fifth Third Bank in the 5000 block of Old Hickory Boulevard on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The suspect reportedly handed the teller a note demanding cash. Authorities added the man "did not make any threats or indicate that he had a weapon."

According to the MNPD, the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
