MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Mt. Juliet crews worked to extinguish a house fire Wednesday, according to social media.

The Mt. Juliet Police Department posted to X, formerly Twitter, that crews were on the scene of a home structure fire in the 200 block of Summer Place just before 8 p.m.

Shortly thereafter, the Mt. Juliet Fire Department posted images of the fire to Facebook, adding residents should avoid the area.
The Mt. Juliet Fire Department noted at 9:24 p.m. that the fire was officially extinguished, though crews remain on scene to assist the affected family. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
"Quick activation of the 911 system proved pivotal in this case!" the Facebook post added.
