NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Multiple units of a condominium complex in the Donelson area were severely damaged in a fire overnight, according to officials.
The Nashville Fire Department (NFD) responded to the scene at Timber Lake Condominiums, in the 200 block of Timberway Drive, just after 11:30 Tuesday night after a caller reported seeing smoke coming from the building.
Officials at the scene told News 2 that when they arrived, a unit on the top floor and part of a lower-level unit were engulfed in flames. Crews performed rescue operations to remove one person who was trapped inside, officials said.
NFD crews worked to clear the scene until around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The aftermath can be seen in News 2 video, including severe damage that caused one unit to cave in. Officials stated that a total of four occupied units were affected by the fire. The Red Cross is assisting the families at this time.
NFD said no serious injuries were reported and no one was transported to the hospital.
No additional information on the cause of the fire was immediately released as the investigation continues.
