MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities in Mt. Juliet are searching for a suspect who allegedly ran away from a vehicle that was being pursued by Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) early Sunday morning.
On Sunday, July 14 at approximately 3:44 a.m., the Mt. Juliet Police Department announced officers were in the Beckwith Road, Central Pike, and Walton Grove’s area searching for a suspect.

According to officials, the suspect was inside a vehicle that was being pursued by THP when he ran away. Inside the vehicle, authorities said they found guns.
Police urged residents to not approach the suspect if they spot him since it’s a possibility that he could be armed.
The suspect was reportedly last seen wearing pink shorts and an unknown shirt color.
He is believed to be in the Beckwith Road and Central Pike area, which is within non-city limits. However, Mt. Juliet police said officers “are heavily patrolling nearby city limit areas.”
No other information was immediately released.
